UMMA’s affordable housing program began in December of 2020 with the purchase of our first home in Waukegan. Since then, we have purchased and rehabbed 2 additional homes in North Chicago and Beach Park respectably. We plan to invest about $2.5 Million over the next 2 to 3 years and develop 10-15 units in the Waukegan area as well as 6-10 units on the north side of Chicago. This program helps families to experience one of the most basic qualities of the American dream, while we continuously help them along their path to a better quality of life.
