Ramadan Refugee Food Drop Off: Part 1

Here is our Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, Umraan Syed, who spearheaded a project yesterday to donate an estimated 5,000 pounds of food to Islamic Oasis, Rohingya Culture Center, and our very own Hope Food Pantry at The Urban Muslim Minority Alliance (UMMA) Center!

Thank you to all our donors who made this possible and the Northern Illinois Food Bank and AmazonFresh for the delicious donations. Alhumdulilah we were able to feed over 150 families with your renewed support!!!

We are currently raising money for our annual Refugee Drive to provide sustainable living conditions to refugees in the Chicagoland area as well as in and around Syria with our partners RefugeeOne and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

Please donate generously to this noble cause at: donorbox.org/umma-refugees
