You and your family can help our refugee brothers and sisters feel welcome and supported in their new country and their new homes. With many living on the edge of poverty, we want to make this Ramadan a beautifully encouraging month, showing our new neighbors that their community cares deeply about their family and welcomes them!
Due to the COVID-19 situation and the shelter in place order in Illinois, this year we won’t be able to gather for our service day to make our traditional baskets for the refugees. Fortunately, there are other ways to help.
Create your own basket with the supplies listed below for the refugee families! Please mark 'UMMA' in permanent marker on the outside of the basket and drop them off at our drop off location.
